ZESTY MORNING EASE ICY POLE
ZESTY ‘MORNING EASE’ ICY POLES
Pineapple, lime, mint & ginger icy poles
The icy pole created just for mamas experiencing morning sickness. They’re so easy to make, fresh & zesty and have some beautiful nutritional benefits to them.
They are handy to grab first thing in the morning to get something into you and curb that nausea before breakfast.
Ginger has been clinically shown to ease nausea, the coconut water is there to keep you hydrated and offer electrolytes, collagen is a wonderful source of protein that is gentle on the stomach and supports your tissues, muscles and skin and the coconut yoghurt is a healthy fat source to stabilise blood sugar irregularities.
You can really make these your own by playing around with ingredients (eg: lemon instead of lime, mango instead of pineapple - whatever you are loving most!)
Enjoy xx
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup frozen pineapple
2 Cups coconut water (I like the cococoast brand)
2 Limes juiced
3 heaped tablespoons of grass fed collagen
1/2 cup coconut yoghurt
1 whole knob of ginger, peeled and sliced
handful of fresh mint leaves
drizzle of honey to taste
METHOD
Blend all ingredients together and pour into icy pole molds.
Let freeze overnight and run under warm water in the morning to pull one out.
